Every site ships with published scores
We publish PageSpeed Insights scores for the sites we build and maintain, and you can re-run the tests yourself at any time. Most agencies describe their sites as fast. We’d rather you check.
Itec Media is a U.S.-based web design and development studio that builds and maintains high-performance websites for companies and the marketing teams and agencies behind them.
Every site we ship is measured against Google’s own performance, accessibility, and search standards, and those scores are published, not promised.
Five things, all of them about the site itself. Strategy, campaigns, and content come from you or your agency. We make sure the site can carry them.
We build and tune sites to Core Web Vitals targets on mobile and desktop, with PageSpeed Insights scores you can check yourself. The outcome is a site that’s fast by Google’s own measuring stick, and visitors who don’t leave before the page loads.
Web Performance & Speed OptimizationWe design and build landing pages around a single conversion action, with copy and layout tested against the campaign that sends traffic to them. The outcome is a page that turns paid and organic clicks into inquiries instead of bounces.
CRO & Landing PagesWe handle the technical side of search: crawlability, structured data, indexing, and the on-page signals that AI answer engines use to cite a source. The outcome is a site your SEO provider’s strategy can actually execute on, and that shows up when someone asks an AI instead of Google.
On-Page SEO & AI Search OptimizationWe design in Figma and build on WordPress with a custom, performance-first setup rather than an off-the-shelf theme. The outcome is a site that looks like it was designed on purpose and scores like it was engineered on purpose. We also build from designs you bring us.
Website Design & DevelopmentOngoing technical SEO, performance monitoring, security, and site health on a monthly plan. The outcome is a site that stays fast, indexed, and online after launch, instead of slowly degrading until someone notices.
Ongoing Growth Plans“We didn’t realize two websites can look identical on the surface and perform wildly differently in search and customer acquisition, because of the way they’re built.”
That gap is the whole business. Here’s how we keep it closed:
We publish PageSpeed Insights scores for the sites we build and maintain, and you can re-run the tests yourself at any time. Most agencies describe their sites as fast. We’d rather you check.
There is no account manager, no project coordinator, and no junior developer between you and the work. The person you talk to about your project is the person in the code. Full-service agencies typically route you through two or three people before a change reaches the site.
Sites are built to WCAG 2.1 AA in the markup, color contrast, and keyboard behavior, and tested before launch. We don’t install accessibility overlay widgets, which mask issues rather than fix them and have been the subject of repeated lawsuits against the sites that use them.
Growth Plans run month to month; the Performance plan has a three-month minimum, and after that you can change or cancel at any time. Most maintenance and hosting providers require 12-month commitments. Projects are quoted fixed-price with the scope written down before work starts.
We don’t sell SEO strategy, content, or link building, so we have no reason to compete with the provider you already use. We implement their recommendations correctly and send them a monthly technical report they can act on. Agencies that also sell SEO have an incentive to replace yours. We don’t.
Companies with someone on the marketing side who will feed the site once it’s built, and who wants a technical partner rather than a vendor.
Marketing managers and directors at companies with an in-house marketing function — currently concentrated in law, construction, wealth management, healthcare, managed IT, and technology
Owners and founders who want a site built properly once and maintained without babysitting
Marketing freelancers and boutique agencies who need a reliable build partner for client projects
SEO and marketing agencies who need a technical implementation partner they can hand work to, white-label or direct
Companies migrating off a rented website builder or an aging WordPress build that no longer passes Core Web Vitals
(Industries listed are where most of our current clients are, not a limit. The fit is about how you work, not what you sell.)

Anna founded Itec Media in Toronto in 2010 and has built, rebuilt, or maintained more than a thousand websites since. The first site she ever shipped — for the Council for Support of Polish Studies at the University of Toronto — ran on one of the earliest versions of WordPress, back when the web had barely any standards and most build decisions ran on hopes and feelings. That’s roughly the opposite of how she works now.
She studied Digital Enterprise Management at the University of Toronto and Communications at Sheridan College, and worked for the Polish-Canadian Congress before going out on her own. The studio moved to the United States in 2019.
For most of its first decade, the studio’s work centered on conversion: sites and landing pages built around campaigns. A few years ago it pivoted to the gap Anna kept running into on every project — marketing companies are good at strategy, content, and PR, but website engineering is a different skillset, and most don’t have it in-house. Itec became the technical partner behind those companies, often white-label: performance, technical SEO, and builds their strategies can actually run on.
She works across design, full-stack development, and technical SEO, and personally builds or reviews every site the studio ships.

Itec Media is a principal-led, fully remote studio. Anna designs, builds, or directly reviews every project, and works with a small, long-standing team of specialists. No anonymous subcontractors, no junior staff, no handoff layer: everyone who works on your site is named on this page.
The short version. The full process is on How We Work.
Communication
Email first. Every inquiry gets a reply within one business day. Once a project starts, you have a direct line to the person building your site.
Getting started
Start at Let’s Talk. If the project looks like a fit, you’ll get a few clarifying questions or proposed call times by email. If it doesn’t, you’ll hear that too, with a reason.
During a project
Fixed-price quote with written scope. Design approved before development starts. Work is tracked on a shared project board you can check at any time, and development happens on a staging site you can see. Nothing goes live without your sign-off.
After launch
Growth Plan clients get a monthly technical report and staging-tested updates. Everyone else gets a site that’s been documented well enough for whoever maintains it next.
Tooling
We use AI-assisted tooling in production for the repetitive parts of the work: audits, testing, content structuring, first-pass implementation. Every output is reviewed and finished by a person before it reaches a client site. It’s why a small studio can hold a large studio’s standards.

Neither label fits well. It’s a principal-led studio: one person accountable for every project, with a small team of specialists behind her. You get the direct access of a freelancer with the process, standards, and continuity of an agency.
Itec Media is based in The Woodlands, Texas and works remotely with clients across the United States and Canada. Projects run on a shared project board where you can see every task and its status, a staging site you can watch take shape, and scheduled video calls.
WordPress, with a custom, performance-first setup rather than a purchased theme or a general-purpose page builder. That’s why the sites score in the 90s on PageSpeed Insights and most WordPress sites don’t. We also maintain and improve existing WordPress sites we didn’t build.
The technical half: crawlability, structured data, indexing, page speed, and AI search readiness. We don’t do keyword research, content strategy, or link building. We work alongside the SEO provider or marketing team you already have.
Yes, for the parts of the work that benefit from it: audits, testing, content structuring, and first-pass implementation. Every deliverable is reviewed and finished by a person. We also build sites to be cited by AI search engines, which is a different thing and is covered under SEO and AI search.
Run any site we’ve built through PageSpeed Insights. The scores on our Results page are the same ones you’ll get, because they come from the same tool.
Yes. SEO agencies, marketing boutiques, and freelance designers hand us build and implementation work regularly, either under their brand or ours. Your client relationship stays yours.
We scope in structure, not dollar amounts. The right fit is a real website: five or more core pages plus a content system — a blog you plan to actively grow. Landing-page and CRO work is something we do for sites we build or maintain, as part of that system. A single landing page floating on its own isn’t a fit; AI tools can produce one of those now, and for what it is, that’s fine.
Five questions, about two minutes. You’ll hear back within one business day.
