Rankings
Google uses Core Web Vitals as a ranking signal. It won't rescue thin content, but between comparable competitors the faster site has the edge — and a slow site hands that edge to whoever built theirs properly.
Web Performance & Speed Optimization
We build websites where a 90+ PageSpeed score and Core Web Vitals targets are the starting point, not an afterthought.

The Problem
Google uses Core Web Vitals as a ranking signal. It won't rescue thin content, but between comparable competitors the faster site has the edge — and a slow site hands that edge to whoever built theirs properly.
Load time sits directly upstream of conversion rate. Every added second gives visitors another chance to leave before your content renders, and on mobile connections a slow page loses leads it never gets to count.
If you're running Google Ads or paid campaigns to a slow landing page, you're paying for clicks that bounce. Slow load times inflate your cost per lead and drag down the landing-page experience component of your Quality Score.
A slow, janky site signals to sophisticated buyers that you cut corners. If your website can't perform, why would they trust your service to perform?
Free Assessment
You don't need us to tell you the site is slow. What you're missing is the diagnosis: how far from Google's thresholds it actually is, what's causing it, and what the proportionate fix costs.
Send us your URL. Within two business days you'll have a one-page assessment: your current PageSpeed Insights and Core Web Vitals numbers, the three specific things slowing the site down, and one of two answers.
We don't patch sites we didn't build — the FAQ below explains why — so the assessment has no upsell hiding in it. No backend access needed; everything is measured from the outside, the same way Google sees your site.

What We Deliver
Every site is built to score 90+ on both mobile and desktop at launch. Real-world scores vary based on content volume and third-party scripts — but the architecture is designed to keep scores high.
LCP under 2.5 seconds, CLS under 0.1, INP under 200 ms — Google's own thresholds, used as the budget for every build. Lab runs verify the first two before launch; field data confirms the rest once real traffic arrives.
Largest Contentful Paint under 2.5 seconds is Google’s own threshold, and it’s the budget every build is measured against — on an emulated mobile connection, not on fiber in a lab.
Proper heading hierarchy, sufficient color contrast, keyboard navigation, alt text, ARIA labels. Accessibility isn't an add-on — it's built into the markup from the first line of code.
Every page ships with proper schema — Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, Breadcrumb, Article. This is what makes your site readable by Google and AI search tools.
What was approved in the design phase is what ships in the build. No compromises, no "close enough," no layout drift between the mockup and the live site.
The Approach
Cloud hosting configured for your traffic profile. Server-side caching, CDN distribution, and environment tuning — not shared hosting with 200 other sites.
Clean database architecture. No orphaned post meta. No autoloaded transients from deactivated plugins. Efficient queries that don't bottleneck page generation.
Hardened from day one — not patched after a breach. File permissions, login protection, security headers configured, automated malware scanning.
Post-launch performance tracking. If Core Web Vitals regress or uptime drops, we know before you do.
The front-end half
The front-end half — the stack, images, CSS, fonts, and when third-party scripts load — is covered decision by decision in how we build
Every third-party script your marketing team adds — HubSpot, Calendly, live chat widgets, analytics pixels, embedded videos — chips away at performance. Plugin updates introduce new overhead. Even adding content with unoptimized images degrades your scores over time.
Keeping a site fast isn't monitoring — it's constant tuning. That's what our Growth Plans are built for.
Is This Right For You
You know it's slow. You've seen the PageSpeed scores. You've watched visitors bounce. You're not looking for a band-aid — you're ready for a rebuild that performs from day one.
You're planning SEO, ads, or a content strategy — and you need the technical foundation to actually convert that traffic. A slow site makes every marketing dollar work harder for less.
It's not. A poorly built WordPress site is slow. A properly architected one scores 90+ on PageSpeed and loads in under a second. The difference is how it's built.
Common Questions
No. We build sites, and we maintain the sites we build. We don't take one-off optimization work on another developer's build — and the reason is worth two minutes, because it's also the reason to be careful who you hand your site to.
Because doing it properly starts with learning the build: the theme's architecture, what each plugin does, which CSS is load-bearing, why the previous developer made the choices they made. On an unfamiliar build that diagnosis costs more than the fixes, so almost nobody selling cheap optimization actually does it.
What gets sold instead is a standard recipe applied blind — a caching plugin, image compression, script minification. Sometimes it breaks things the same day; more often the score bumps for a few weeks and drifts back, because the thing generating the bloat is still in place. And when something breaks later, the person who changed the site and the person who maintains it are different people, so nobody owns the result.
We decline this work for the same reason our Backend Access Policy discourages third parties from modifying sites we maintain: changes made by someone who doesn't own the build create problems for everyone who comes after.
We've watched those projects from the maintenance side for years, and they follow a pattern: an optimization plugin stacked on a page builder, settings copied from a tutorial, a report that looks better for a month. Marketing providers are good at marketing; website engineering is a different skill set. If their changes are still on your site, they're often one of the three things the assessment finds.
Start with the free assessment. If the problems are contained, you get the fix list for your own developer and you're done. If they're structural, you get the case for a rebuild — and that's work we do take, because we're accountable for every line of it from day one.
Projects vary based on scope, content volume, and complexity. We provide fixed-price proposals after a discovery conversation — no hourly billing, no surprises. Let’s talk about your project.
A first build is really two projects: the theme, then the first page — typically two to three weeks each, with every page after that faster because it reuses the theme. The full breakdown is on Web Development.
Performance degrades when nobody’s watching. Plugin updates, content additions, and third-party scripts all introduce risk. Our Ongoing Growth Plans include performance monitoring and incremental optimization to keep your scores high after launch.
We migrate your content as part of the build. Blog posts, case studies, team bios, service pages — everything moves to the new site. We handle the technical migration; you review and approve.
We offer managed cloud hosting optimized for the sites we build. Clients who prefer to host elsewhere are welcome to — we’ll configure the build for your environment.
